SCIENCE BUS
At Sertek Exhibitions, we take immense pride in our accomplishment: the design and build of a cutting-edge Science Bus for the Istanbul Transit Authority.
This innovative mobile facility boasts 13 interactive exhibits centered around the theme of Energy and Environment Technologies.Our primary objective with this endeavor was to cater to a diverse audience, including students, teachers, and the general public, delivering insightful and immersive experiences. Since its debut, the bus has embarked on a remarkable journey, crisscrossing Istanbul, Turkey, and extending its enlightening reach to over 150,000 students in the past six years. Notably, its calendar remains perpetually booked for forthcoming visits, underscoring its continued popularity and relevance.
PURPOSE
This project was conceived with a dual purpose: to educate visitors on crucial subjects and to instill a heightened consciousness and awareness. To achieve this, we seamlessly blended internationally renowned exhibits from leading museums with exclusive, purpose-built displays, resulting in a one-of-a-kind science bus brimming with state-of-the-art exhibitions. Moreover, our commitment to tailoring the content to resonate with the distinct cultural and geographical aspects of the audience is unwavering.
FEATURES of SCIENCE BUS
Our team spearheaded the curation of engaging interactive encounters, such as the Renewable Energy Sources Table, AR Sandbox, Smart Recycling Bin, Fuel Types, Smart Grids, and Smart Bus. Given the spatial constraints inherent in science bus projects, we meticulously optimized every available inch, both inside and outside the bus, to create immersive contextual experiences. This meticulous planning encompasses entrance and exit interactions, multitouch screens, and hands-on activities, all meticulously aligned with the overarching thematic narrative.
THEMATIC SCIENCE BUS
Our thematic science bus project transcends the realm of science education, seamlessly blending aesthetics and functionality. It boasts meticulous decorative elements, refined lighting design, and captivating internal and external graphic design, all thoughtfully harmonizing with the exhibits to enhance the visitor experience. Inclusivity has been a paramount concern, with the exhibits thoughtfully developed to cater to the needs of disabled visitors.

Operational during school days for students and open to the general public on weekends, evenings, and holidays, this Science Bus stands as a versatile educational resource. It’s not just a vehicle; it’s an effective means of outreach for science centers and similar institutions, creating an impressive atmosphere that facilitates the internalization of Energy and Environment Technologies concepts and offers fresh perspectives on these critical issues.
